Are You Interested in Helping Confused Kids, too?

New Blogger who has heard that this is an awesome means of communications with lots of great folks. I have a heart for missions of all kinds but especially At Risk and Kids behind prison walls/wires and detention/rehab centers? Our ministry is appropriately named "His Kids, too," because I feel that many people have the concept that these rejected kids have no place in the average persons lifestyle and culture because they make wrong choices in life. Many (but not all) are taught by family members...how to make those wrong choices of alcohol, drugs, crimes or whatever. A child simply follows examples or resorts to wrong choices for survival for the greater part. Many have mental problems with need of medical help due to being crack babies. The child's actions is not the total picture but they all want to be respected, wanted, successful and happy.

Yet regardless the issue or how bad...they, too are ALSO God's kid. He created them to ALSO have an abundant/successful life. However, many from birth have never had the chance to even know the meaning of love, happiness, food, clothing, self-respect that the average American has. This is just a 'tiny portion' of my heartfelt desire to help all kids that are in trouble, lonely, broken, confused, rebellious, angry, hurting, hungry for happiness and the everyday joys of life.

So, do you have a desire or wonder what you can do. I am just a Grama that loves kids regardless of color, culture, or level of communication. If you care, then write & share. Gloria
